GUARANTEE


GF Grove & Co (2018) Ltd and its retail trading brand Eurowire (‘the Company’) warrants that its products will be free from material defects in workmanship and materials for the time periods applicable by the following product categories (which reflect the manufacturing processes and materials used to make the product):

Eurowire Shelving Systems, Wardrobes & Components – 5 years


Eurowire Storage Trolleys, Display Stands, Laundry Trundlers and Towel Stands – 1 year


Eurowire Chrome and Stainless-Steel Products (other)  – 2 years


Eurowire Wire Plastic Coated Products, Canvas and Nylon Products – 1 year

The time period specified is from the date of purchase (Warranty period). If a material defect should occur during the Warranty period, and the Company verifies such a material defect and your claim, the Company will choose to either repair the product, replace the product or provide you with a refund of the purchase price of the product. Any repaired or replaced product will be covered by the Company warranty for the remainder of the original Warranty period.

The Warranty does not apply if the defect in the product is caused or contributed to by misuse of the product, failure to maintain the product, neglect or accident, ordinary wear and tear (including rust, corrosion and normal fading, weathering, staining, discoloration, scratching or chipping). Exposure to heat, failure to install the product in accordance with any instructions or manuals, or modification, repair or tampering with the product by anyone other than a Company Representative.

To claim a Warranty, you must contact the Company and receive a Goods Return Authority. If the Company requires the product to be returned, then the cost of this will be paid for by the Company.

Please refer to our Return Policy for further information. If the product was not purchased through Eurowire then you must first contact the retailer from whom you purchased the product to make the claim.

Additional Guarantees Under Consumer Law

The New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 as well as other laws (“Consumer Laws”) give you other legal rights. For products sold in New Zealand these rights cannot be modified or excluded by any contract, except in those circumstances expressly contemplated by New Zealand Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The Company warranty is in addition to any other rights or remedies you have under the applicable Consumer Law. Except as otherwise provided by the Company warranty, all warranties, terms, conditions, guarantees or similar, other than those which cannot be excluded under applicable Consumer Law, are expressly excluded by the Company to the extent legally permitted.
